Now that I’m back working 12-16 hours a day, I thought doing a top 10 list would be an easy subject for my hopeful 1 post a week ambition. Not. Nonetheless, here you are, my 10 most endeared bloggers, as i disappear into Queen’s end.
10: Ms. Ellenor Rose http://msellenorrose.wordpress.com
She is young and I am probably her mother’s age, but I sense something lovely in her with what she has presented. She was the first WordPress blogger to follow me. How does one ever forget their first any big blog thing. For Ms. Ellenor I have a pic of me when I think was around her age.
9. Missc247 http://missc247.wordpress.com
I love her face, her gypsy soul and her tiny treasures. For her I have a pic of a tiny treasure of mine. It is a half-scale straw sculpture given to me by a Miss America. She was a (and still is) a treasure to me.
8. Crafty Bunch http://craftybunch.wordpress.com
Crafts are a wonderful thing. Sadly in the big deal world of buying celebrity and brand anything, people have forgotten what it means to create something of your own, and glean a very tangible joy.
As I begin fittings on Monday, I’ve left my camera at work. Therefore I am unable to take a shot of one of my craft pieces, and must use what’s available. For Crafty Bunch I have a pencil sketch I did of Vanessa Williams (Yet another Miss America I’ve worked with).
7. Worldly Winds http://worldlywinds.wordpress.com
An easy blog to rake contentment from while I’m having busy day. As my days are increasingly stolen by the current project I’m working on, I find myself managing to get in a good feeling from the pics and poems in Worldly Winds world.
I can’t find the poem I wanted to send, a poem I’d written, but I found The Language Of The Fan. It’s from a magazine from 1858. You’ll have to click and zoom a few times to actually read it. It’s for Worldly Winds.
6. Cerridwen’s Cauldren http://caridwen.wordpress.com/
Strange how her address doesn’t go hot. Whatever, she has a neat blog opener. Whether or not I have the time to read her entire post is one thing, however I can always read her intro, which is a witch. Here’s a special image for her.
5. Make Me http://makememori.wordpress.com wrote: “Here is my pledge: ‘I, Rachel of Makememori.wordpress.com, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May ’12. I endeavor to wear at least one made by me garment each day for the duration of May 2012″ . The bird print sundress is lovely.
My question is are you still in for the challenge? To you I dedicate my Dream Coat.
4. Earl Richardson http://earlrichardson.wordpress.com
I’ve got a high toned Art situation on my hands here. Yes, I like what he shows me, but what can I show him? Here’s a try.
3. Brian Westbye http://brianwestbye.wordpress.com
I enjoy his descriptions of the recent past, the evocative photos. He feels easy to connect with. I especially liked his blog on the Ramones. In my rushed reality I’ll have to go with this, a vintage pic of me in 1993 designing my third film. Can you believe the size of the cell phone?
2. Dean J. Baker http://deanjbaker.wordpress.com/
His poetry inspires. I know he has his books on sale until the end of the month. I hope it all works out because I just bought one of his books. Believe you me after all his poetry, I’m going to read it and review it. Whatever, here’s an image and near poem for him,
Inside, I await your
entrance into my soul, but I’m solid
in plaster. Where can I go?
1. Cynthia http://poetryinspector.wordpress.com
Easy on the eye, heart and soul, Cynthia has inspired me with her insistent consistent beauty in the image of a daily Simple Pleasure. She has also endeared me with her supportive personal words. The picture below is for Cynthia. It was an amateur shot of a moment I relish to this day, a simple pleasure that has traversed time, and remains clear in my mind.
I love you all!
